TOP FAQS

How does the health assistant app and virtual urgent care work?

When you have a health issue, log into your HFH Go Mobile App to search for answers in the expansive WellBe medical info desk. All searches are private and confidential so you can search confidently. You can also be proactive with your health by setting up prescription reminders, health appointments and more. Access to HFH Go is $7.99 per month.

When you need professional advice, request a real-time consultation with one of the WHVC providers. Your provider will review your medical history and perform a video exam or phone consultation (where permitted) within minutes. Each consultation is only $15.00, paid at the time of your consultation.

You will then receive a medical record and care instructions electronically, with any necessary prescriptions sent to the local pharmacy of your choice for pick-up and payment. The entire telehealth visit can be completed within 45 minutes or less.

Does telehealth take the place of a primary doctor or insurance plan?

No. The WHVC program is designed to supplement care when access to an in-person doctor is difficult. For example, in the night, on holidays and weekends, or when you cannot get an appointment. A primary care doctor or specialist is still the best choice for ongoing treatment and care.

Why subscribe with MetAlert?

HFH Go and WHVC is only available via group enrollment. This means that enrollment is typically only offered to individuals through association with a company or organization. MetAlert is allowing any one to join their “group” and gain access to this robust, time and money saving platform. MetAlert believes Knowledge is Health, and has been working to provide its customers with health and safety technology since 2002.

Is this service secure and confidential?

Yes. HFH Go and WHVC is HIPAA compliant and completely confidential. This means your searches, conversations and medical history are protected and encrypted. Ask anything you like- the HFH Go app offers a secure, confidential medical info. desk called “WellBe”. Search for answers to your most private medical inquiries with no risk of spyware, lingering search history or observing 3rd parties. We never sell your data in any form.

  • Abrasions, bruises
  • Colds, flu and fever
