GTX Corp Launches New Pet Tracker with NFC Digital ID System

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – October 1, 2018 – GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO) (“the Company”), an Internet of Things (IoT) solutions provider in the GPS wearable location and wandering assistive technology business, announced today the launch of its new GPS tracker and Near Field Communication (NFC) digital ID system Rover Tracker. In addition to providing on demand GPS location information, Rover Tracker will also include Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, creating a secure link connecting your real time profile and contact information to the person who finds your pet. The GPS Rover Tracker will be the first GTX product to include NFC technology which will enable the Company to demonstrate the value of providing a unique single physical and digital ID with real time location and information delivery. The pairing of GPS and NFC supports GTX Corp’s expansion into blockchain security and asset management across multiple distribution and supply chains.

The American Humane Association estimates over 10 million dogs and cats are lost or stolen in the U.S. every year and only about 17% of lost dogs and 2% of lost cats that enter shelters are returned to their original owners. The GPS Rover Tracker with GPS and NFC technology puts pet owners in control. It provides an affordable, innovative and proactive approach for a safe return and a happy reunion of lost pets.

“Our new GPS and NFC digital ID system will provide seamless onboarding, contact and location information on lost pets, stated Theresa Gordon, GTX Corp NFC and blockchain advisor and project manager. Individuals who find a lost dog or cat can tap their smartphones and get detailed information about the pet and owner, to alert them immediately. This provides both proactive and reactive opportunities for a pet owner versus losing a pet, then posting, calling and searching, waiting for someone to find them and bring them to vet or shelter to check for a chip. RoverTracker is affordable, noninvasive, and is easily attached to a collar or harness. GPS and NFC are global technologies, allowing anyone with a smartphone to receive pertinent information. Truly a win-win for fur babies and their humans.”

GTX Corp planned its launch around the release of the new Apple Xs and XR which can read NFC chips. Apple now has NFC technology native in their phones. Previous Apple phones will still work but need to launch an App in order to read NFC, while Android phones are already NFC compatible, making adoption of this technology virtually universal.

“Our goal is to incorporate NFC technology across our entire GPS product line,” stated Patrick Bertagna, GTX Corp CEO. Theresa has been working with us on implementing blockchain and NFC solutions over the past year. The GPS/NFC combination will enable us to provide a secure physical-digital link, allowing our customers to maximize asset management, traceability and anti-counterfeiting. In addition this extends our capabilities to include automated onboarding, product usage, instructions and information, such as a serial number, name and department or, in the case of Rover Tracker, the individual and pet contact information.”

The Company has already begun developing these features for its RT15 weapons tracker and plans to start piloting the technology with several law enforcement agencies, which will enable quick and accurate inventory management and the recovery of the weapon in case it is lost or stolen.

Most widely known for its patented GPS SmartSole and Smartphone GPS Tracking App, GTX owns and licenses more than 80 patents, is a U.S. military contractor and has multiple consumer and enterprise products in the market place, available on its online store and Amazon.
