GPS SmartSoles Expand Government Supported Distribution in Europe

LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA, October 10, 2019 GTX Corp (OTCQB: GTXO) (“the Company”), a pioneer in the field of wearable GPS, people and asset tracking Location-Based Services (LBS) and Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS), today announced U.K. distributor Possum, has begun supplying the GPS SmartSoles to various local and national government authorities, housing associations and National Health Services (NHS) departments, along with expanding distribution into private sector entities.

As GTX continues to expand its distribution across the U.K. The GPS SmartSole is now being used on patients in over 45 local health authorities including Scottish Borders, Warrington, Rotherham and the London Borough of Newham; major national Care Homes like Gracewell Healthcare and Sunrise Senior Living as well as numerous resellers of medical supplies and National Equipment Providers to the National Health Service (NHS) like Millbrook Healthcare.

“We are excited to see the distribution and interest of the GPS SmartSole grow across many of the major distribution channels serving the senior care and health industry in the UK” said Phil Iles Possum UK Sales Manager. “We are working on a number of big projects and expect the distribution and sale of these valuable, wearable tracking products to continue to expand and grow.”

As the Western World continues to face an unprecedented crisis related to Alzheimer’s every person diagnosed that is not bedbound is at risk of wandering and becoming lost. Wandering is one of the most common, complex, burdensome and costly behaviours of the disease and is a safety issue with far reaching implications for the person with the disease, their caregiver, law enforcement and financial providers such as Medicare, Medicaid, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) the National Health Services (NHS) etc. For law enforcement agencies tasked with finding a missing person before they suffer a serious injury or death, that cost to the taxpayers can run around $1,500 per hour with most low tech search and rescue operations lasting 9 hours on average.

CDW Corp. a provider of technology to businesses, government and health-care organizations, including senior-care facilities has identified five key areas where technology is changing the senior-care market, including wearable devices, the Internet of Things, telemedicine, voice activation and data security.

GTX and its distribution partners, which specialize in wearable tech, IoT and telemedicine solutions are starting to see more GPS SmartSole and overall wearable tracking technology interest coming from law enforcement and other government agencies, which realize that wearable technology is probably the best way to control search costs and offset some of the search efforts to family, friends and neighbours or simply reduce the search time from hours to minutes.

Due to the rise in interest for practical and affordable tracking and monitoring solutions, GTX is also currently engaged in distribution conversations with a telemedicine industry specialist working with various police departments in the UK, and other industry distributors in Spain and France. “Our patented wearable tracking technology has caught the attention and interest of well-established telecare health industry companies and government agencies in Europe, Australia, Latin America and even Sri Lanka,” said Andrew Duncan, Director, GTX Corp. “We are also seeing an uptick in inquiries and tenders from Police departments and government agencies in the U.S.

Across Europe, GTX distributors in the U.K., Sweden, Germany and Denmark are reporting noticeable progress with local and federal agencies and municipalities, and expect to see continued increases in SmartSole sales and subscription activations throughout 2019.

GTX Corp is a For-Profit with Purpose Company which has an extensive patent portfolio, is a proud U.S. military contractor and has multiple wearable tracking products sold through its online store, Amazon and authorized resellers and distributors servicing customers across the globe.
