Equities.com- GTX (GTXO) Creates GPS Toy Line as Stealth Child Monitoring Solution

Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, GTX Corp. (GTXO) has released the innovative Take-Along Friends toy line, which are five 8-inch plush dolls embedded with the company’s award-winning GPS tracking technology. This momentous launch signals GTX’s much-anticipated entry into the children’s products market. The plush toy industry alone was a $1.08 billion dollar industry in the United States last year, and during the holidays the huggable toys are a reliable staple for busy holiday shoppers. But, beyond just the holidays, any parent can tell you that a furry friend is an everyday carry item for most babies and toddlers, which makes this new innovative product from GTX such a life-saver for parents.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, an estimated 800,000 children are reported missing each year in the United States – equating to roughly 2,000 per day. These facts demonstrate the peace of mind that GTX’s Take-Along Friends can provide families of all kinds. Quite frankly, as anyone who has ever received an AMBER alert knows, even just one case of a missing child is too many.

As for GTX’s new Take-Along Friends toy line, hidden inside these adorable toys — which come in five friend options: panda, puppy, bear, frog and unicorn — is the company’s proven miniaturized GPS Do-It-All Take-Along tracking device. The device is sealed inside a Velcro pouch for discreet reliability offering parents real-time tracking and alerts, while children are not the wiser that their loveable friend being lugged around the playground is protecting them from harm. Of course, these toys also come with a squeezable sound maker for entertainment keeping the child from figuring out they are carrying around the GPS version of the “Nanny Cam.”

“As a mother of two young children, I’ve always appreciated the value of a safe, reliable and suitable GPS tracking device to meet my own family’s needs,” Meghan Ravada, GTX Corp Community Relations Director and product innovator, added in the company press. “I’m extremely excited about being able to add the kid and parent-friendly Take-Along Friends to our ever-growing product portfolio, and truly hope our new product will bring as much peace of mind, safety and security to many families as it will to my own.”

As Ravada mentions above, GTX is continuing to grow an already impressive portfolio of GPS and IoT products that all have one thing in common: first-class quality. The company’s slew of awards will definitely back that up – nominated in three separate categories for the 2017 Uppie Awards, Most Innovative Tracking & Recovery Technology winner in the 2017 Telecoms Awards, one of the 25 Most Empowering IoT Companies by 1IT Enterprise Magazine in 2016, and finishing second only to Microsoft (MSFT) in the 2015 CTIA E-Tech Awards in the Wearables, Health, Fitness & Wellness category – but look to the partners and customers who have already tapped GTX to solve complex problems, mainly the United States Air Force.

In September, GTX announced that they would be supplying Edwards Air Force Base with specially-designed non-cellular GPS technology to track personnel and equipment. The Personnel/Equipment Tracking System (PETS) developed by GTX allows for large-scale monitoring of both human and non-human assets in remote areas with poor cellular coverage. The devices designed for the Air Force by GTX are also fully encrypted and able to send latitude and longitude updates in real-time. In addition to this deal with the Air Force, followed by a partnership with Garrison Defense LLC to employ GTX’s tracking technology into Garrison’s ArmaTrak™ solution, an intelligent firearm tagging and tracking system designed to help law enforcement and military personnel with real-time weapons accountability.

Besides, working with the military and law enforcement, GTX is most well known for its flagship GPS Smartsole® product, which is a smartphone-connected GPS tracker embedded in the insole of a shoe, think Dr. Scholl’s meets Lojack. In October, the company announced that it would make the Smartsole– and the rest of their IoT devices – much more accessible as they completely revamped their online store, creating an easy-to-use e-commerce platform for all internet shoppers.

The new e-commerce site is just another pipeline that GTX has opened to bring its industry-leading technology to everyone. Previously, the company inked deals with with ORBCOMM Inc. (ORBC), a global leader in machine-to-machine solutions with a large customer base, to provide connectivity on the Verizon (VZ) network who are also selling the SmartSole on their web platform bringing GTX access to the wide-ranging Verizon sales channel. On top of this, GTX’s SmartSole is also a staple on the TruSense Online Store.

The SmartSole represents revolutionary technology that is designed to make a difference and improve the quality of life for seniors, which is actually a very large market. As first reported by Bloomberg, remote monitoring services that keep an eye on the elderly is likely to reach $50 billion with over 45 million Americans caring for 117 million seniors by 2020 making GTX an important part of a growing industry.

But, as stated above, GTX’s technology is much larger than the healthcare industry – the company has more than 80 patents to its name – and recent developments have proven that any market needing high-tech monitoring has a use for GTX’s proprietary platform. Now, with the company’s new toy line, GTX is showcasing its explosive growth potential. This is a company that has been knocking down milestones and reaching more and more sectors as the months go by, GTX is having a great year and surely has more exciting news on the horizon for 2018.
