GTX Corp Announces Distribution Agreement with Posifon AB

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – DECEMBER 8, 2014 – GTX Corp. (OTCBB: GTXO), a pioneer and global provider of personal location wearable technologies, is pleased to announce a new distribution agreement with Posifon AB, a market leader in mobile safety alarms for elderly persons in Sweden and other Nordic countries. Comprising of Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, total population of around 25 million, this territory is one of the more prosperous regions in Europe with very high per capita spend on health care.

“Our business development efforts internationally are now resulting in direct distribution relationships with industry leaders for our SmartSole products,” commented Patrick Bertagna, CEO of GTX Corp.  “With our upcoming retail consumer launch of the SmartSoles later this month in the US, we are pleased with the additional demand from overseas distributors that are servicing their own markets using our products.  Posifon AB is a recognized leader in working with our core demographic, and we are thrilled to have them on board for the Nordic markets.”

Posifon AB is the market leader in mobile safety alarms for elderly people in Sweden and the Nordic countries. The company started in 2007, with its roots from Ericsson and Volvo Trucks, and the Posifon founders have been working with GPS technology for nearly twenty years. Posifon works along with a number of dedicated municipalities and partners to lead the development of the application of mobile safety alarms. Their efforts have been recognized through awards from the European satellite consortium, Galileo, for their innovative ideas.  Posifon customers include consumers, municipalities, and government institutions.

“For us it is important to be able to offer the best technology solutions to our customers,” commented Henrik Essunger, Director of Posifon AB. “We made the strategic decision early on not to manufacture any hardware ourselves and instead build long term relationships with the best suppliers in the world. Our plan is to integrate tracking solutions such as the GTX SmartSoles and apps to increase the quality of life for those in need, including their caregivers.  We now look forward to introducing the GTX SmartSole in the Nordic countries.”

Andrew Duncan, Director of International Sales of GTX Corp, remarked, “This region is an extension of GTX’s international roll out strategy which targets countries with high disposable income per capita and high levels of health and senior care services. Building on our existing partnership in Switzerland and Austria, Sweden and Norway are a perfect next step for our international expansion.  People in northern Europe and surrounding countries tend to spend more on health care and assisted living services than elsewhere in Europe and are more open to embracing new technology to improve their daily lives.”
